Robert Wood Johnson Foundation – Forward Promise – Empowerment Projects

Available Funding:up to $450,000

Eligible Organizations:Public entities or 501(c)(3)nonprofit organizations

Purpose:Forward Promise aims to promote opportunities for boys and young men of color (BYMOC) to heal, grow, and thrive in the face of chronic stress and trauma. Empowerment Projects seek to strengthen organizations that provide culturally relevant healing responses to trauma, and can partner with the youth-serving systems that touch BYMOC to advance new practices to prevent further traumatization.

Ribbons of Hope

Deadline:May 31, 2017

Available Funding:up to $100,000

Eligible Organizations:Georgia 501(c)(3)nonprofit organizations

Purpose:The grant is awarded to one Georgia-based 501(c)(3) agency or organization each year.
Grants will fund the organization’s capital investment or a one-time, self-sustaining program. No overhead or salaries will be funded by the grant.

Kelly for Kids Foundation

Deadline:October 23, 2017

Available Funding:up to $250,000

Eligible Organizations:501(c)(3)nonprofit organizations in Western New York

Purpose:The Kelly for Kids Foundation Community Grants are awarded to charitable not-for-profit 501 (C)(3) organizations whose primary mission is to assist children in need in the Western New York area. In particular, it funds health and social service organizations that serve the disabled and/or economically disadvantaged youth.
